Burak Öymen is the co-founder of Capital Partners, a leading real estate development company in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Some of the notable projects of Capital Partners include the Ritz Carlton Hotels in Moscow and Almaty, Metropolis Shopping and Office Center in Moscow, Esentai Park Luxury Shopping Center in Almaty and Kaplankaya, a coastal development project on the Aegean coast of Turkey, and the Ski Resort of Shymbulak in Almaty. Burak Öymen is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia with majors in International Business Administration and Marketing. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the same university.
Burak Öymen has been a real estate professional for nearly 30 years. He started his career working for Enka, the Turkish Construction Conglomerate in 1994 in Moscow, Russia. He served as deputy GM to Mosenka, a JV between the Moscow City Government and Enka. From 1996 to 1998 He worked at the Moscow offices of DTZ. In 1998 Burak Öymen co-founded Resco, which became the partner to Colliers International in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. In 2001 Burak Öymen and Serzhan Zhumashov co-founded Capital Partners.
Burak Öymen is Turkish and married to Tereza Maxova from the Czech Republic. The couple and their children live between Prague and Kaplankaya.
